As a Bakklog Sales Representative, you will connect the world through technology and innovation. You will work with business owners, engineers, and start-ups to help owners across various industries improve and take their businesses to the next level. You do this by sharing with them Bakklog’s development solutions or by helping them expand their web presence through SEO or digital marketing.

This role combines inside sales, account management, and minor operational activities to meet the needs of our customers. This is an incredible opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the future of Bakklog.

Responsibilities

  • Map and document existing company accounts in order to identify areas of up and cross-sell

  • Ensure customer retention and happiness with the service offering the company provides

  • Network in order to gain referrals and source fresh leads

  • Outbound prospecting - cold calling, email marketing campaigns, social outreach, etc.

  • Book new business meetings with prospects

  • Answer inbound company questions via email and phone

  • Conduct discovery calls with prospective business owners and clients to learn more about their needs

  • Develop and maintain client relationships for future development areas

  • Achieve quota on the number of qualified opportunities per month/year

  • Assists in the transitioning sales to PMs for client needs and communication with clients where necessary during development stages

  • Effectively collaborate with stakeholders from technology, operations, sales, and other functions when appropriate

Qualifications

  • 0-3 years of increasing responsibility in sales, account management, or similar roles

  • Great time management skills & organizational skills

  • A consultative approach with good relationship-building skills

  • The confidence to engage with professionals at varying levels of seniority

  • Have an interest in working in a sales role in the technology industry

  • Previous sales or customer-facing experience is a plus

  • Strong analytical and project management skills

  • Desire to work in a fast-paced and fluid entrepreneurial environment

  • A sense of ownership and ability to drive issues to closure

  • Strong communication and writing skills with client management experience

  • Bonus: the passion for and previous SEO/web/mobile development experience
